2024 Season Roundup

Well the end of 2024 is upon us and it was the first full year/season for the STSC. Even though the summer did not really arrive as we had more rained off meets than we actually held this year, but when we did get the odd Monday where the sun had his hat on we did wht we do best, get the sccoters out and meet at the cafe for top refreshments and banter.

Regardless of the rain it has been a fantstic first full year for the club and we actually managed to squeeze in a fair bit, attendiing rallies (local & national), supporting local ride outs for good causes and supporting the bikers against thieves intiative. Attending adn watching the british scooter endurance racing, having our end of season fundrasier and obviously the highlight of it all our weekly meets on a Monday at the Village Cafe during the season and currently in our winter home the Cottage Tavern.

We welcomed new members and sadly said good by to others from our club and the scooter community, but we will support each other through the hard times and the good.

So whats in store for 2025, well hopefully we will get some sunshine so we can all enjoy the season and get out and about on our two wheeled wonders across the region and enjoy some of the local and national rallies. For us as a club we will continue to look for ways to help improve and grow our little community and contiune to support the scooter scene across the north east.

So to summarise, a bit of a wet year but we still managed to get out and have fun and a good laugh which is the whole point and we can only look forward to hopefully a drier adn sunnier 2025.
